What this notice covers
HalaWays, LLC is a privately owned US-based travel technology startup developing an AI-powered platform that simplifies how travelers discover, plan, and organize their journeys. Our technology combines conversational artificial intelligence, personalized travel recommendations, and planned integrations with travel service providers to create a more intelligent and connected travel experience.
The company is currently focused on developing its initial product and preparing for its planned launch in January 2027.
This notice covers the informational website at halaways.com and its early-access waitlist. Existing mobile-app and travel-service information is addressed separately in the app and travel-services privacy policy.
Information collected here
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the time of submission, the version of the consent notice, and the source of the submission. We use an essential session cookie to protect the form. For abuse prevention, the server stores a keyed hash of your network address and hourly submission counts. Hosting systems may also produce standard request and security logs.
How this website uses information
Waitlist information is collected to maintain the early-access list and communicate launch news, product updates, and upcoming features you requested. Security data supports spam prevention and website reliability. Joining does not create a travel account or reservation. This landing page does not send your email or form content to an AI model.
Hosting and processing
The current implementation stores waitlist entries in HalaWays’ existing hosting database. Website images and fonts are served by the same website. No advertising or analytics tracker is installed by this landing page.
Infrastructure providers may process data as needed to host and secure the website. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by applicable law. This notice does not make claims about certifications, specific processing locations, or absolute security.
Retention and your choices
Waitlist entries remain in the database until removed by HalaWays; an automatic subscriber-expiry schedule is not implemented. Old hourly abuse-prevention records are pruned after 48 hours during subsequent accepted submissions. You can request removal from the list, correction, or information about your stored data by emailing admin@halaways.com. We may ask for information needed to verify the request.
Cookies and security
The waitlist uses a session cookie with Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite protection. It is necessary for form security and is not used by this landing page for advertising. Submissions use HTTPS, server-side validation, and account-scoped database storage. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
